A teammate completed this project with my class and then surprised me with the wishes!  Too cute!

  4. I'm so glad you found something you could use in your classroom! These Valentine Kids are always a favorite of mine! As far as tips for making them, I model, model, model. The only pattern I allow them to use is the pattern for the heart - otherwise, it is their imagination and creativity. I do begin each school year with the students making just their faces for a classroom display and each month we continue to build on this process so when February rolls around, we are "experts" at making ourselves out of paper!
