We can't wait for Valentine's Day!
Here's a look at just a few of our favorite projects!

Valentine Kids

This year's display in progress ~ not everyone is finished yet!

Valentine Penguins!

"Heart-y Animals"

"Torn Paper Hearts"

Love Letters!

A teammate completed this project with my class and then surprised me with the wishes!  Too cute!

  1. i love the kids holding a heart! they all turned out so different! i want to make those with my class! thanks for the inspiration:)

  2. I like the kids holding the hearts, too! Any tips on how to make that?

  3. What a cute activity.

  4. I'm so glad you found something you could use in your classroom! These Valentine Kids are always a favorite of mine! As far as tips for making them, I model, model, model. The only pattern I allow them to use is the pattern for the heart - otherwise, it is their imagination and creativity. I do begin each school year with the students making just their faces for a classroom display and each month we continue to build on this process so when February rolls around, we are "experts" at making ourselves out of paper!

Don't forget your note!
