Rhyming Connect Four

Click on the "Connect The Rhymes" board to download the pdf.

Connect the Rhymes is played when the students partner up and select a chip (distinguishable from their partner's chip).

To begin one player selects a picture from a "cell" and calls out a rhyming “cell”.  The player must name the cell's contents correctly and the rhyming match before placing his or her chips/counters over both of the cells.

Players should try to block their opponent.

Play ends when a player "connects” any four cells in a row (diagonally, horizontally, vertically).
