Contraction Action

February is the perfect time to work on reading and writing contractions!  

Here’s “Contraction Match Up” to make the classroom learning fun!

It won’t be long now until the pink, red, and white valentines will be swirling around the classroom!  Here’s a fun way to get “more” out of the classroom celebration.  

Allow each student to use his/her valentines to go on a contraction hunt 

to find even more of these short words!

Otherwise, the letter police will have to come to the rescue!  J
