Cat in the Hat App!

Looking for a fun way to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday?
Add some fun to your classroom photos thanks to the "Cat In the Hat"!
Try the iphone Dr. Seuss camera app from Oceanhouse Media.

Screenshot of the iphone camera app!

The app allows you to add photos from your iphone, camera roll, or photo library.

I am also considering adding The Cat In the Hat book to my ipad today!
If you already have The Cat In the Hat book on your iphone or ipad, leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

Here's a look at one of my favorite jpg card choices from the iphone app!
Try the iphone app "Up With A Fish" if you just can't wait for the fun on March 2nd!

Here's a link to a "Dr. Seuss" Free Font for your newsletters and projects!

Have a Super Saturday!

  1. LOVE IT! Thanks for the great ideas. They have The Cat in the Hat Lite app. for free. It has about ten pages of the book. You can see if you like that before you buy the real one.

  4. I use my projector and project onto the smart board ~ rarely do I use the document camera - as a matter of fact, I just went to the apple store today and picked up a dock connector to VGA Adapter to try out the IPad connection in the classroom -keeping finger crossed that it works - let me check on Monday and see if I have I can come up with any additional suggestions. If so, I'll be sure to get back to you! Thanks for reading and thanks for the question! ~Michelle

  6. Hi Debra, I just usually email it back to myself and then I can save it right to my desktop or folder - it takes me just a second to do that step and when I am working at school I am on a PC so that's a time saver. When I am working at home, I am using my mac so the photos are easily accessible from my gallery and camera roll and I do not have to email them to myself. :-) F.Y.I. ~ I sent the one of the jpgs to my Shutterfly account and had the photo from the app printed and it turned out so well! I can't wait to print the pictures for my students! They will love it!
