3 Dimensional Shapes

Do you Google?  Have you tried Google SketchUp?
My first graders can't get enough of this free program!

My students created, modified, and shared 3D models using this drawing software.

Here's a look at just a few of our final projects that my First Graders created independently as we studied Geometry!

(This image gives you an idea of the creation before the textures and surfaces have been added.)

Now for the finer details!

(We even rotated our buildings 360 degrees to get a better look from "all angles"!)

Our plan is to add all of our 26 creations to a digital story to share with family and friends!

I hope you'll give Google SketchUp a try with your "Shape Experts"!
