The Shamrock Shake

We are reading, writing, and wearing the green this week!

Make sure your students are wearing the green this St. Patrick's Day with
"The Shamrock Shake Headbands".

Here's another way I used some of the fantastic products from

We made headbands with the Shamrocks Boarder.

Here's What To Do:
Measure each student's head with a shamrock boarder strip and cut the strip to size.
Staple this boarder strip at the top and the bottom to shape the headband.

Attach the Shamrock 6" Designer Cut-Outs to pieces of pipe cleaners and tape the pipe cleaners to the inside of the headband.

It was that simple. I hope you give it a try!
Everyone will be wearing their very own Shamrock Shake Headband by the time morning work is finished.

If you don't have these fantastic Creative Teaching products at a store near you, grab some sentence strips and green construction paper.  Trace and cut out shamrocks and assemble the headbands in the same fashion!

During your morning meeting time, turn on the St. Patrick's Day music and dance your own version of The Shamrock Shake!

I'll be back tomorrow with a fun, sneaky, leprechaun project!

Happy Shamrock Shaking!
